Martin Johnson is a corporate development and strategic advisor focused on real estate technology platforms and institutional transactions.

He founded Anchor Advisory to advise founder-led platforms and private equity investors on strategic alternatives, acquisition opportunities, and sell-side readiness.

Previously, Martin served as Head of Corporate Development at CoStar Group, where he led more than 25 domestic and international acquisitions totaling over $10 billion in enterprise value. These transactions expanded CoStar’s presence across data, marketplace, and analytics platforms within commercial and residential real estate. During this period, the company’s market capitalization grew from approximately $15 billion to over $30 billion, supported by disciplined inorganic expansion and capital allocation.

Earlier in his career, Martin held senior leadership roles at Visa Inc., where he helped establish the company’s Strategic Partnerships division and supported global expansion across a leading payments platform. His work at Visa focused on partnerships, corporate strategy, and commercial growth within a global financial services environment.

Martin began his career in strategy and operations consulting at Deloitte, advising leading financial institutions.

Across roles, he is known for disciplined execution, clear communication, and identifying structural risks early in complex transactions and integration processes to support sound decision-making.
